Milan trade show launches ‘Made In Italy’ hair care track

The organiser of the Making Cosmetics trade show in Milan has revealed the 2026 edition in November will feature a new hair care programme.

The inaugural iVision is a Made in Italy format entirely dedicated to hair care and hair colouring formulation strategies and innovation.

iVision is designed as a technical, immersive, and interactive space where exhibitors become active protagonists, offering live demonstrations of formulation development, application testing, and analysis of key trends in a rapidly evolving sector.

Participants will have the opportunity to follow the full creative journey — from raw material to finished product — highlighting scientific rigour, application performance, and sensorial experience, in line with current market demands.

iVision is developed with the support of Visionnaire Cosmetics Lab – Research and Innovation.

Returning in 2026 are the Wise Ingredients award and the Green Dream awards.

Wise Ingredients celebrates the most innovative, effective, and responsible ingredients.

Green Dream recognises the most sustainable and forward thinking solutions shaping the future of cosmetics.

Both awards offer companies a unique opportunity to showcase excellence in formulation, research, and environmental responsibility.

Making Cosmetics will take place at the Allianz MiCo in Milan on 25-26 November alongside the in-Vitality exhibition focused on beauty supplements.

The organiser said 90% of the exhibition space for Making Cosmetics is already assigned while 80% of the exhibition area for in-Vitality is confirmed.

“Italy has always been a place where creativity, scientific excellence, and craftsmanship come together, and this spirit is at the heart of Making Cosmetics and in-Vitality,” said event director Sara Valorz.

“The enthusiasm for the 2026 edition shows how rapidly our industry is evolving — and how much it values spaces where innovation, collaboration, and imagination can thrive,” she added.

“By bringing the community together in Milan, we are not only showcasing new ideas and technologies; we are shaping the future of beauty and wellness with the people who are driving it forward.”
