Lubrizol serves up fresh data on Telophi biotech ingredient

Lubrizol has revealed new scientific findings supporting the efficacy of its Telophi biotech ingredient.

Recent ex vivo and in vitro studies confirm that it helps protect telocytes and stem cells from aging, promoting extracellular matrix homeostasis and preserving collagen integrity—key factors in maintaining youthful, healthy-looking skin.

These new results, including a comprehensive analysis of Telophi biotech ingredient’s impact on collagen, have been published in the Journal of Cosmetics, Dermatological Sciences and Applications.

Obtained from a Bacillus species discovered in the Florida Keys after an extensive screening of over 25 geographic locations, the Telophi biotech ingredient contains over 20 peptides—including 15 cyclopeptides—and 15 fatty acid derivatives.

The ingredient is 100% natural origin content (ISO 16128) and COSMOS-approved.

Previous in vitro assays demonstrated Telophi biotech ingredient’s ability to shield telocytes—specialized cells that can contribute to reparative and regenerative mechanisms—along with stem cells and exosomes from psychological stress.

In vivo studies further revealed that it contributes to a firmer, lifted, and more harmonious facial contour, with proportions approaching the Golden Ratio (Phi).

Its robust sustainability profile reflects Lubrizol’s unwavering commitment to delivering sustainable solutions for its customers.
