Preparation:

  1. Prepare phase A.
  2. Sprinkle Siligel™ into the phase A under high stirring during 5 minutes (rotor stator homogenizer).
  3. Add phase C under slow stirring to avoid entrapment of air bubbles.
  4. Add D, E (ingredients one by one) and F under slow stirring until the product is homogeneous.
  5. Adjust pH if necessary.

Aspect: Translucent gel with purple beads Viscosity (Brookfield, LV, spindle 3, 6 rpm, 1 min): 10 000 - 20 000 mPa.s pH: 5.0 - 5.5 Preservative efficacy test: Done Pilot batches 48 kg
Stability Tests: On lab batches up to 3 kg Up to 1 month at 50°C Up to 3 months at: Room Temperature, 4-8°C and 45°C Freeze thaw cycles (24h at -18°C and 24h at RT - 2 weeks) Centrifugation (3000 rpm, 20 min): Stable Vibrating table (400 rpm, 4h): Stable
