Seqens has added four new blends to its AdvensProtect portfolio of personal care ingredients: AdvensProtect 56E, AdvensProtect 56E Green and AdvensProtect 58E, and AdvensProtect 58 Green.
The French firm says this family of multifunctional ingredients is designed to address the cosmetics industry's urgent demand for high-performance, easy-to-use alternatives to traditional preservatives, now featuring advanced 100% biobased ‘green’ versions.
AdvensProtect 56E is a unique combination of Pentylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, and Ethylhexylglycerin; this blend is specifically suited for use in sensitive skin formulations.
AdvensProtect 56E Green is the same combination composed of the 100% biobased ingredients Pentylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, and Ethylhexylglycerin.
AdvensProtect 58E is said to be an effective 1-stop solution of Pentylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, and Ethylhexylglycerin.
AdvensProtect 58E Green is the same solution composed of the 100% biobased ingredients Pentylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, and Ethylhexylglycerin.
“With the launch of AdvensProtect 56E Green and AdvensProtect 58E Green, Seqens highlights its commitment to green chemistry and sustainable sourcing in its multifunctionals/preservative boosters’ portfolio,” said a spokeswoman.
“Both solutions are certified ISO 16128 Natural Derived with a NOI = 1 and are sourced from sustainable sources, providing formulators with a clear path toward developing high-performance, eco-conscious products,” she added.
