Preparation:
Phase A: Add ingredients in order to main batch, ensuring product is uniform before the addition of next ingredient. Heat batch to 55°C. Mix until uniform. Add phase B ingredients slowly, one at a time in order at 55°C. Mix until uniform. Cool main batch down to 30°C. Phase C: In a separate vessel, premix ingredients. Mix until menthol crystals are dissolved. When main batch has cooled to 30°C, add phase C with mixing until uniform. Phase D: Add ingredients, in order, to main batch, ensuring product is uniform before the addition of next ingredient. Mix until uniform. Adjust final pH to 6.5-7.0 with citric acid (50% solution). Mix until uniform.
