Personal Care will host the latest in its popular series of webinars in February with a presentation on Ectoin by German personal care ingredient maker Bitop.
‘Skincare’s Must-Have Ingredient: Lab-grown Powerhouse Active Bitop Ectoin natural’ will take place at 14:00 GMT on Wednesday 18 February.
Hosted by Personal Care editor Tim Probert, the presentation will be given by Bitop technical sales and marketing manager René Schmitz (pictured).
Schmitz, who specialises in extremolytes such as Ectoin and their use as active ingredients in personal care, holds a master’s degree in Business Chemistry from Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf.
He previously worked at the Fraunhofer Institute and Research Centre Jülich, gaining experience with extremophilic microorganisms that underpins his work today.
The webinar will highlight why Bitop’s multifunctional active Ectoin natural is a must-have in skin care and provides insights into emerging trends shaping the cosmetic industry.
