PCHi reveals Hangzhou trade show floor highlights

The organiser of the PCHi China trade show has revealed the show floor highlights for the 2026 edition of the event in Hangzhou next month.

PCHi 2026 will cover 70,000 square metres of exhibition space, welcoming over 850 companies from 26 countries and regions.

These exhibitors span a full spectrum of sectors, including ingredients, laboratory & testing services, equipment, packaging, and AI applications, gathering on-site to showcase their latest products and technical solutions.

With more than 150 new exhibitors joining this edition, visitors can expect a broader view of the technologies and technical capabilities entering the market.

Givaudan Active Beauty will present its latest technology platform and cosmetic ingredients developed through marine, plant-based, and fermentation-driven biotechnology.

At the show, the company will highlight an advanced hyaluronic-acid-based delivery platform designed to enhance the depth, homogeneity, and durability of molecule penetration into the skin, including protection against enzymatic degradation, alongside brightening actives such as Evernityl and Illuminyl 388.

Bloomage will showcase bioactive ingredients produced through fermentation and synthetic biology.

Featured developments include Hymagic-VCHA, which covalently conjugates ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) with Sodium Hyaluronate to create a pioneering dual-core stabilization system—one that rebuilds the ECM while boosting elasticity and hydration—and Hybloom Aurora, an ultralow-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid designed to support skin vitality at the cellular level.

Coachchem will present its achievements in molecular design, synthetic chemistry, and plant-derived actives.

At PCHi 2026, the company will showcase how it has leverage its Anallerg, EffeMIX, and BiocosMe core technology brands to illustrate how derivative chemistry, synergistic active systems, and plant exosome technology are being applied in skin care formulations, particularly in the development of vitamin, amino acid, and carbohydrate-based derivatives.

Lucas Meyer Cosmetics by Clariant will present biotech-derived active ingredients and formulation solutions designed to balance performance with environmental considerations. Its blue biotechnology platform leverages microalgae to produce purified bioactives as alternatives to conventional ingredients.

SGS will showcase its testing, inspection, certification, and regulatory services supporting evidence-based product development across the cosmetics and personal care sector.

At PCHi 2026, the company will focus on advanced efficacy evaluation and non-invasive measurement technologies, highlighting the role of precise, data-driven methodologies in strengthening scientific substantiation and supporting clearer, regulation-aligned efficacy claims in an increasingly competitive market.

Beyond individual exhibitor presentations, PCHi 2026 will feature dedicated initiatives including the Fountain Awards display, New Products Showcase, Innovation Zone, and Sustainability Zone.

These areas give visitors a structured way to follow how new ideas progress from research and development through to market-ready solutions.

“PCHi serves as a gateway for global industry professionals to observe how emerging trends and market forces translate into practical solutions,” said a Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions (RSE) spokeswoman.

“As part of RSE’s wider portfolio of cosmetics and personal care events, PCHi also sits within a year-round program of platforms that support ongoing technical exchange, market understanding, and industry dialogue,” she added.

“By bringing together technologies, research capabilities, and technical expertise, the event offers clear insight into how innovation is being applied across the industry.”

PCHi 2026 takes place on 18-20 March at the Hangzhou Grand Convention & Exhibition Centre.
