Paris education programme revealed for in-cosmetics Global

The organiser of the in-cosmetics Global trade show has revealed the education programme at the forthcoming Paris event on 14-16 April will feature more than 230 sessions.

The expert-led content will explores core themes of beauty science, innovation, sustainability, testing, and regulations across presentations, seminars, fireside chats, lab sessions, and roundtable discussions.

Designed to reflect the evolving priorities of the global personal care industry, this year’s programme will deliver a comprehensive blend of commercial insight, scientific advancement, and practical expertise, guiding beauty innovators through the journey from lab to launch.

The Formulation Lab, supported by Personal Care Magazine, will deliver live, hands-on laboratory sessions where participants work alongside experts to create formulations in real time, explore new techniques and translate innovation into products.

One of the event’s most immersive experiences, the Formulation Lab will provide over 20 exclusive, closed sessions for formulators and R&D experts, offering the opportunity to work directly with raw materials, explore new textures and refine techniques under expert guidance.

The Marketing Trends Theatre will explore essential market intelligence, equipping attendees with a deep understanding of shifting consumer behaviours, market dynamics and the emerging trends shaping next-generation beauty development.

Sessions include ‘Beauty in the Age of GLP-1 - The New Beauty Opportunity’ led by Pia Fisher, Beauty Strategist at WGSN, will look at how GLP-1 medications are reshaping beauty, and how emerging science and shifting consumer priorities will influence skin, hair, fragrance and overall wellbeing, signalling a new strategic frontier for brands.

Meanwhile, global beauty powerhouse The Estée Lauder Companies will take the stage with Lucas Nanini, VP Fragrance Innovation and Cristina Venturoni, Open Innovation & Fragrance Product Manager of L’Atelier, presenting ‘The Art of Scent Reinvented: How the Estée Lauder Companies Is Rewriting the Rules of Fragrance Innovation.’

The Technical Seminar Theatre, will host over 125 technical seminars led by exhibitors, exploring new technical strategies and robust scientific data underpinning efficacy claims and the performance of ingredient innovations and formulation solutions, inspiring the new product development.

Meanwhile, the Sustainability Zone’s Forum and Theatre will provide forward-thinking guidance on responsible ingredient sourcing, sustainable best practices, and environmentally conscious approaches to formulation.

In its second year, the Testing and Regulatory Forum will return with sessions designed to unpack the realities of today’s beauty compliance landscape.

It will cover everything from evolving legislation and claims substantiation to cross-border market access and emerging testing methodologies.
