Naolys reveals seven-day benefits of apple tree cell-based active

French personal care ingredients maker Naolys has revealed enhanced efficacy claims and a new seven-day clinical result for its Soothing Light Apple Tree active.

For more than 15 years, Soothing Light Apple Tree has been Naolys’ best-selling active for sensitive skin.

Developed through Naolys’ patented plant cell culture biotechnology, Soothing Light Apple Tree harnesses the power of Malus domestica cells enriched in secondary metabolites, including natural PDRNs, to restore skin harmony.

Already proven to optimise skin balance by enhancing microcirculation and reducing inflammation, it now demonstrates an extended mode of action: it stimulates epidermal renewal, reinforces intercellular cohesion and delivers long-lasting soothing benefits.

Clinically tested twice, it visibly reduces redness and discomfort in just seven days, while significantly strengthening the skin barrier in 28 days.

As part of the new testing programme, dedicated evaluations of the plant-derived PDRNs naturally present in Malus domestica cells demonstrate their role in reinforcing the skin barrier, one of the key vulnerabilities of sensitive skin.

A Naolys spokeswoman said Soothing Light Apple Tree is a “proven ally for sensitive skin, now reinforced with fast-acting results”.

“By reinvesting in science around its best-selling soothing active, Naolys demonstrates that long-term success and scientific rigour can, and should, evolve together,” she added.
