Preparation:

Manufacturing Procedure:

  1. Prepare A and E, heat at 70°C.
  2. Add B into A under high stirring during 20 minutes until the product is homogeneous (rotor stator homogenizer).
  3. Add C into AB under high stirring during 5 minutes until the product is homogeneous (rotor stator homogenizer).
  4. Add D into ABC under medium stirring for 5 minutes (tooth propeller).
  5. Add E into ABCD, under medium stirring for 5 minutes and increase to the maximum to emulsify (rotor stator homogenizer).
  6. Cool down the formula.
  7. Add ingredients of F, one by one, under medium stirring until the product is homogeneous.

Formula Specifications at D1: Aspect: Off white lotion Viscosity (Brookfield LV, spindle 2, 3 rpm, 1 min): 6 000 - 8 000 Cp pH: 5.5 - 6.5 Preservative efficacy test: Pass Pilot batch: 40 kg

Stability Tests: On lab batch up to 3 kg 1 month at 50°C 3 months at: Room temperature, UV, 4-8°C and 45°C Freezer (24h -18°C and 24h RT) Freeze thaw cycles (24h at -18°C and 24h at 45°C – 3 cycles) D1 Centrifugation (3000 rpm, 20 min) D1 Vibrating table (400 rpm, 4h)
