Lubrizol data reveals power of peptide in lipstick applications

Lubrizol has unveiled new efficacy data for its Argireline YOUth peptide, now formulated for lipsticks.

A recent study conducted at Lubrizol’s Shanghai Beauty Research Institute confirmed that it can peptide can visibly improve lip roughness and reduce the appearance of wrinkles in as little as 14 days, as measured by advanced imaging technologies.

Introduced in 2023, the peptide is the oil-soluble version of the well-known Argireline peptide, made possible through Lubrizol’s patented LipoClear inverse micelle delivery system.

This advanced technology ensures optimal stability and efficacy in oil-based systems such as lipsticks and hybrid makeup formats.

The peptide addresses areas of greatest concern among younger generations, helping to prevent the emergence of future expression wrinkles while enhancing lip smoothness and softness.
