Preparation:

  1. Combine Items A – E (main batch), heat to 80 °C.
  2. Combine Items F – J, heat to 80 °C.
  3. Add Items F – J to main batch while homogenizing at 3000 rpm for 2 min to 4 min.
  4. Transfer to anchor mixing with slow to medium speed for cooling.
  5. Stop mixing at 45 °C to 50 °C.

Physical Properties pH @ 25 °C = 4.00 – 5.00 Viscosity @ 25 °C (Brookfield DV1MRV; Spindle T-C @ 10 rpm) = 35,000 - 65,000cps Stability 45 °C (12 weeks), 50 °C (12 weeks), F/T (3 cycles) Testing Preservative Efficacy Testing: EP-A, EP-B, PCPC, USP
