Preparation:

Procedure Heat part A to 85°C while stirring. When homogeneous, add part B pre-heated to 85°C under agitation, then add part C. When everything is homogenous add part D pre-heated to 50°C. Be sure that the pH of PARSOL® HS solution is 7.0, if traces remain, add a small quantity of neutralising base until the solution pH 7.0 is obtained. Homogenise intensively and cool down under agitation to ambient temperature. It is generally recommended to use vacuum while producing the emulsion. Properties pH: 7.49 Viscosity: 48700 cps (Brookfield, RV 6, 10 rpm) SPF in vivo: 44.7 SPF in vitro: 37.8 PA: *** PPD (UVA)/SPF (UVB): PFA: 20.6 (SD: 5.60)
