Speakers from Croda, TRI Princeton and others will on 21 January participate in a free webinar on the future of hair care hosted by trade association Cosmetics Cluster UK (CCUK).
‘The Haircare Gap’ aims to be a thought-provoking industry webinar exploring the disparity between innovation in skin care and hair care.
While the skin care category continues to surge ahead with ingredient innovation, says CCUK, clinical validation, and consumer engagement, hair care often appears to lag behind — with fewer groundbreaking actives, slower trend cycles, and challenges in claim substantiation.
This session will bring together voices from across the value chain — ingredient developers, formulators, manufacturers, brand leaders, and testing specialists — to explore why this ‘gap’ exists, whether it is real or perceived, and how the industry can bridge it.
Speakers include Helene Hine of Croda; Peter Luebcke of Valogen Biosciences; Catherine Leray of THG LABS; and Paul Cornwell of TRI Princeton.
This Zoom event, which takes place between 15:00-16:20 GMT, is designed for professionals in the cosmetics and personal care sector, including ingredient and raw material suppliers, formulators and product developers, brand managers and marketing teams, R&D scientists and claims specialists, and regulatory and innovation strategists.
