Preparation:
Mixing Procedure
- Heat the deionized water to 75°C with stirring and slowly add the Natrosol Plus 330 CS until it is completely hydrated.
- Mix the Floraesters K-100 Jojoba with the Propylene Glycol, USP at 75°C.
- Add the mixture to Phase A with stirring at a temperature of 75-80°C. Add the Florasolvs PEG-150 Hydrogenated Jojoba and the Merquat 280 to the mixture with stirring.
- Mix all of the ingredients of Phase C together with stirring at a temperature of 75-80°C. Add Phase C very slowly to Phase AB with rapid propeller agitation to create an emulsion.
- Cool Phase ABC to 45-50°C. Add the ingredients of Phase D with continuous stirring.
- Quickly cool the mixture to 30°C and then load tubes or containers for use.
