CTPA hosts international seminar in London

The UK Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association (CTPA) hosted an International Seminar for 2025 in London, which coincided with the International Trade Week led by the Department for Business and Trade (DBT).

The CTPA International Seminar is a biennial member-only event dedicated to providing CTPA members with much-valued updates about worldwide developments as well as what to expect in the future.

Since its inception, the CTPA International Seminar has been a vital forum offering a unique opportunity to connect with peers, key stakeholders and experts of the cosmetics industry.

The 2025 edition of the CTPA International Seminar featured a rich programme tailored to the evolving needs of the sector, including representatives from DBT, the International Collaboration on Cosmetics Safety (ICCS), from cosmetics industry associations Cosmetics Europe, Cosmetics Alliance Canada, Personal Care Products Council USA (PCPC), FEBEA (France), and experts from CTPA member companies and consultancies, who provided valuable insights on the many pressing challenges for cosmetics companies operating in a global market.

Delegates attended insightful discussions on the latest regulatory developments across key global regions, including in North America, Middle East and Asia, on global trends and evolutions towards alignment on international regulatory best practices.

CTPA Director-General Dr Emma Meredith OBE said: “I was delighted to see so many members and stakeholders attend the 2025 CTPA International Seminar.

“We were treated to a wealth of incredibly important information and advice from around the world and on key global markets,” she added.

“My grateful thanks go to all the speakers and the CTPA team, but especially Nico and Johanna - whose focus and expertise on international issues are invaluable to members and the industry as a whole.”
