British fragrance house CPL Aromas unveiled its Poetic Pavilion at the West Lake concept at this month’s PCHi trade show in Hangzhou, China.
The concept featured notes deeply rooted in Chinese culture, including Ink, Xuan paper, Chenpi, and Wintersweet.
“At the heart of this inspiration lies the West Lake and its Poetic Pavilion, a serene burst of nature within a dynamic and vibrant city, it stands as a timeless window to Hangzhou’s rich history and cultural legacy,” said a spokeswoman.
CPL Aromas reimagined this setting through a multi-sensory booth experience, inviting visitors to step into a world where tradition meets innovation.
The booth allowed visitors to explore a wide range of fragrance applications and technologies.
Several creations also incorporated CPL Aromas’ latest innovation, AromaHydro.
This advanced formulation technology replaces traditional solvents with water wherever possible, enabling the development of cleaner, more skin-friendly, water-based fragrances with a long-lasting and improved performance.
Originally developed for fine fragrance, AromaHydro is now expanding into new applications such as body and hair mists and even home care applications.
