Preparation:
Prepare moulds and any other ingredients in advance. Phase A: Dissolve lye by adding slowly to the water. (The lye will react immediately with the water and get very hot!). Allow mixture to cool to 55°C. Heat phase B separately to 55°C. then melt phase C until clarified (approximately 55°C max). Once both mistures are at 55°C, carefully add phase A to combined phase BC, then stir, using a mixer for up to 1 hour, until trace (thick slurry). Add the essential oil. Stir to mix thoroughly and pour into moulds. Insulate with covers and allow to rest undisturbed for 24 hours. Cut into desired shapes and cure for at least 3-5 weeks.
