Trade association Cosmetics Cluster UK (CCUK) has launched an affiliate membership scheme for organisations from outside the United Kingdom.
Affiliate membership will be granted to companies who demonstrate a serious interest in engaging with the UK cosmetic industry value chain.
The membership fee is £550/€650 per annum and all the benefits of a full paying CCUK membership are included.
“Since we began Cosmetics Cluster UK in 2020, we have required that members have a UK headquarters or office address, but we have been asked on many occasions by companies wishing to join our cluster who are from outside the UK but they currently have no UK representation,” said communications manager Maria Rowson.
“With that in mind, we have introduced a new affiliate membership category, aimed at companies based in countries outside the UK, who have a significant interest in establishing a presence in the UK cosmetics market or connecting with businesses in the UK market as suppliers of goods or services,” she added.
CCUK has already signed up Formulyze under the affiliate membership scheme this month.
Formulyze is a B2B matchmaking platform for the cosmetic industry that enables formulators to share their requests once and receive targeted solutions from relevant ingredient suppliers.
Projects can be submitted anonymously in just a few minutes, allowing suppliers to respond with formulations, raw materials, or technical advice aligned with real development needs.
The platform is currently used by over 100 formulating companies and 100+ ingredient suppliers across the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) region.
