Preparation:

  1. Combine Sequence #1 ingredients in main vessel and heat to 40C with propeller mixing for 30 minutes.
  2. When hydroxyethylcellulose is fully hydrated and clear add Sequence #2 ingredients to main vessel and increase heating and continue mixing.
  3. When batch temperature is 75-80C add Sequence #3 to main vessel, hold at temperature while mixing for 10 minutes.
  4. Add Sequence #4 to main vessel, continue mixing and hold at 75-80C until batch is homogeneous.
  5. Start slow cooling while mixing.
  6. Add Sequence #5 when batch reaches 55C, continue mixing.
  7. Shutdown when batch reaches 45C.

SPECIFICATIONS: pH: 6.5-7.0 Viscosity: TF @ 0.6 rpm = 500,000+ cps  10% Stability: 1 month @ 50oC
