Spanish actives maker Algaktiv won the prestigious Suppliers’ Award: Ingredients & Formulation at the CEW (Cosmetic Executive Women) Beauty Awards Luncheon in New York City.
The Barcelona company beat off AE Chemie, Ashland, Croda, Givaudan, Lubrizol, and Silab to take the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC)-sponsored prize for its Exometics G skin care ingredient.
Exometics G is said to be a benchmark in exosome-inspired innovation for skin care - redefining how we think about cellular communication and skin rejuvenation.
“We are immensely proud to share that Stéphan Bien-Aimé [pictured, centre-right], M.S., director of sales & business development for the USA, received the award on behalf of the Algaktiv team,” said a spokesperson.
“Huge congratulations to everyone involved in this success — science, marketing, sales, production — for making this vision a reality”.
The award was presented by NYSCC chair John Carola [pictured, centre-left].
“Congratulations to Algaktiv and their innovative Exometics G for taking home this prestigious recognition,” he said.
“Your work represents the level of scientific achievement that both CEW and the NYSCC community celebrate.”
